About Us

Updated Front View.jpg

God has a distinct purpose for Fort Hunt and Southern Alexandria.

God has a distinct purpose for you and every one of us.

Our vision is to obey the truth we presently know and then pursue God’s enduring plans as He reveals them to us. Then, when our assignment intersects your need, we intend to be properly prepared and available to faithfully represent His purpose.

We know that God holds the key to our safety, success and satisfaction. As His agents, we seek to deliver God’s grace and love in effective ways. If God is inspiring you to find a church home or learn more about Him through authentic worship and responsible Bible study, you will want to visit us.

We are a church in transition, looking for where God is leading in 2019 and beyond. Perhaps He is calling you to play a critical role is this transition. You may be the person or have the critical gifts that we need to make more than incremental gains towards His ultimate vision.

Whatever the case, we pray the same for you as we do for everyone – – “God, please reveal Yourself to us in increasingly meaningful ways and give us the faith to obey Your voice and draw closer through Your Spirit.”

BRANDY STEWART

Worship Leader

Brandy was born and raised on a small farm in a small city down in the swamps of South Louisiana. She has two amazing adult children around whom most of her life is focused. She is a cat mom of 4 and proudly wears the title "Crazy Cat Lady." She holds a Doctorate in Education and she is very passionate about inclusive and special education.

She joined the Army right out of high school and was blessed to love, serve, and lead worship in many different places, from a war zone to a small beach hut in Hawaii. Brandy's ministry career began as a youth worship leader at her home church in Louisiana. In her Army training sites, she led worship for the chaplains, and at each duty station she became a worship leader.

It wasn't until she moved to NOVA that she pursued formal schooling for ministry. She enrolled into bible college and with a cohort meeting at her church, she graduated and received her degree as an ordained worship and youth pastor. Brandy's mission is to lead everyone into the type of worship Jesus commanded in Luke 7:36-50; worship like it's your only source, give God the ultimate gratitude, and bless God expecting nothing.

In her spare time, Brandy enjoys sketching, painting, playing music, board games, and staying updated on astrophysics. Having lived in so many places, she has developed into a foodie. She loves to run half-marathons and one marathon a year, if possible.

Please say "hi" when you come to church! ESPECIALLY if you sing or play instruments!!

Local Ministries

Local Ministries

Paul Spring Retirement Community

We conduct a monthly service at the Paul Spring Retirement Community. This time of worship is designed to extend the Belle View ministry to this important population of our neighboring community. This service includes worship in the form of singing and bible study.

Manor Care Services

Our ministry at Manor Care Health Services is a musical one, which involves a monthly hour visit to lead residents in singing patriotic and seasonal songs as well as favorite hymns. One aspect that the residents especially look forward to is the “Manor Care Band”, where they are actively engaged in playing their choice of rhythm instruments to accompany themselves in singing traditional Sunday School songs and praise choruses.

Global Missions

We take seriously the Acts 1:8 commission to “…be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” We give a portion of our offerings to support worldwide evangelism and church planting.
